Broughton Partners, a technology first, innovative mass tort case acquisition company, has continued its ongoing collaboration with Clemson University’s Master of Science in Data Science and Analytics (DSA) online program. Broughton Partners served as a proud sponsor for Clemson’s DSA Emerging Weekend 2021 event on November 5th and 6th.

Broughton Partners recognized the natural synergy between its rapidly growing business intelligence initiatives and the DSA program. Broughton Partners reached out to DSA’s program director in 2020 to see if they could provide students with perspective on how the skills they learn in the program are applied in the business world.

“Our success is driven by the strategic use of technology and data analytics,” said Cason Carter, Chief Executive Officer of Broughton Partners. “To achieve our mission of helping 500,000 people harmed by corporate negligence by 2025, we need cutting-edge data intelligence and top talent to help us develop and deliver strategic initiatives to get us there. We saw this collaboration with Clemson as the perfect opportunity to create relationships with the students while sharing and receiving industry knowledge.”

The collaboration between Broughton Partners and Clemson’s DSA program has proven to be enlightening and educational for all. At the Emerging Weekend 2021 event, business intelligence professionals, Chris Manley, Curt Daughtry, Matthew Shoup, and marketing professionals, Casey Holston, and Sean Setters presented to attendees and shared valuable insights. The event also featured a Hackathon, or data challenge, which asked participants to determine the probability that a lead will successfully navigate the process for determining eligibility. Overall, the Emerging Weekend event went off without a hitch and Broughton Partners looks forward to continuing to cultivate their connection with Clemson’s DSA program.
