Cason Carter

CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Cason Carter is the founder and chief executive officer (CEO) of Broughton Partners. He started his career in corporate insurance sales and saw first-hand how businesses put profits before people. This fueled his passion for becoming an advocate for victims of corporate negligence, and creating Broughton Partners.

Cason is responsible for the planning, strategy, daily operations, and overall vision of the company. He is an executive with strong business acumen and a relentless focus on execution. Under his leadership, the company has experienced tremendous growth in a short amount of time. His innovative mindset and ability to lead the organization through change have contributed to the overall success.

One of his proudest accomplishments has been creating an engaging and inspiring company culture. Cason firmly believes the success of an organization starts and ends with its employees. He spends a lot of his time and energy focusing on leadership and the company culture, striving to build a team that is equally as passionate about creating a world without corporate negligence.

Cason holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Clemson University.

Gary Woelber

Chief Operating Officer

Gary is the Chief Operating Officer at Broughton Partners. His focus is on cross-departmental operations and efficiencies. Gary started his career in investment banking operations and trading at Lehman Brothers Inc in NYC. Since leaving Lehman in 2007 Gary has been involved in several small businesses where his focus has been developing operational procedures and figuring out a better way. Gary holds a BA in Finance from Valdosta State University in 2000.

Chief Revenue Officer

Chelsea Ingber brings over 16 years of experience in sales and leadership to Broughton Partners. She has extensive experience in building strategies to help organizations scale and grow, focusing on increasing market share, creating new revenue streams, process improvement implementation, and creating customer-focused strategies to optimize customer offerings. She is well-versed in servant leadership and has led teams in sales, revenue operations, commercial partnerships, sales engineering, account management, and sales enablement.

Chelsea is passionate about investing in her team, providing developmental opportunities, and focusing on ways to help her team with better processes and customer engagement. She understands Broughton Partners’ culture and values and will be dedicated to helping continue to focus on the company’s growth.

In Chelsea’s spare time, she enjoys following Formula One, traveling, and spending time with her pit mix rescue dog.

Patrick Rek

CHIEF TECHNOLOGY OFFICER

Patrick Rek is the chief technology officer (CTO) for Broughton Partners. In this role, he provides leadership for the continued development of an innovative, robust, and secure information technology environment. His expertise ranges from business strategy and execution to software development and rapid prototyping.

Patrick joined Broughton Partners in 2016 and is one of the company’s first employees. Throughout his time with the company, he has led the creation and execution of its technology strategy and roadmap, assisting in Broughton Partners’ rapid business growth and scalability.

Patrick holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Southern Polytechnic State University.

Wilson Daughtry

VP, Finance

Wilson has over 40 years of experience in Accounting, Technology, and Management Consulting. He began his career working for a CPA firm before moving into consulting on process improvement initiatives. Wilson also has international operations experience managing a team in the UK. Prior to joining Broughton Partners, Wilson served as Senior IT Manager in the Nuclear Analytics segment of Duke Energy. Wilson holds a BS in Accounting from Clemson University.

Alicia Schell

VP OF PEOPLE & CULTURE

Alicia comes to Broughton Partners with over 29 years of Human Resources experience in human resources strategy, talent management, employee relations, performance management, employee development, and leadership coaching.

She graduated from Clemson University with a master’s degree in human resources development.

Alicia and her husband moved to Georgia from Texas over 12 years ago when she transferred from Gulfstream Aerospace’s Dallas facility to the corporate headquarters. In their spare time, they love to bicycle around the beautiful beaches of Jekyll Island.

Damon B. Barr

Meet Damon B. Barr, Co-Founder Emeritus of Broughton Partners. Damon’s impressive track record and expertise in advertising, digital marketing, enterprise sales, legal marketing, customer acquisition, and the business of law have made him a key asset to our company.

Damon’s proven ability to scale businesses, grow market share, and increase bottom-line revenues is a testament to his expertise. He continues to focus on maximizing value for our clients and potential claimants seeking justice, ensuring that Broughton Partners remains a trusted and reliable partner for law firms.
Beyond his involvement with Broughton Partners, Damon is also a principal in several ventures, where he maintains an active advisory role. As a father of two young girls, he is passionate about creating a better world for future generations by reducing corporate negligence.

Steve Smith

Steve has over 20 years experience in sales, marketing and business development. Eight years of that focused solely in the legal marketing industry. He has worked with the nation’s top firms and is a trusted marketing expert within mass tort and personal injury qualified retainers. Born in Houston,TX but now residing in Florida Stephen enjoys the ocean lifestyle, working out, traveling and personal growth.

Mike Howell

VP OF SALES STRATEGY

Mike has over 25 years of Sales and Sales Leadership expertise, with a proven track record of driving results as both an individual contributor and as a sales leader. Mike spent the last several years in roles where he’s been responsible for developing, directing, onboarding, and leading remote based sales teams, in a variety of channels from media sales to extreme sports equipment to medical supplies.

Mike lives in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL and is married with 2 children. Mike is a former professional soccer player and a life long surfer, and he says he remains passionate about both.

Brittany Heurter

Brittany brings over 9 years of experience in analytics, project management, and continuous improvement to the team. She has extensive experience in change management transformation focused on team collaboration, continuous improvement strategies, and project management processes.

Brittany has a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics with a concentration in operations research and a Master’s of Science in Mathematics with a concentration in statistics.

The most important thing to me about Brittany is her values. She is an unselfish leader who believes in learning alongside her team and empowering them to maintain quality while focused on improving work-life balance through continuous improvement initiatives.

Janice Conner

Sales Operations Manager

Janice L. Conner comes to Broughton Partners with several years of sales, hospitality, finance, and leadership experience and is responsible for the sales department’s daily operations, which include forecasting, commission computation, accounting, marketing assistance, client engagement, and departmental organization.

Janice spent the better part of her career working for Passion Food Hospitality in the Washington D.C. area. Prior to joining Broughton Partners, she held sales director roles within Compass Group, ThinkFoodGroup by José Andrés, and Southern Proper Hospitality Group in Atlanta. Throughout her career, she has developed teams and supported their members across different departments in the hospitality industry.

Janice studied business at both Northern Virginia Community College and The George Washington University.
