Damon B. Barr is the chief revenue officer (CRO) and the chief financial officer (CFO) at Broughton Partners where he brings a wealth of experience to oversee the company’s enterprise sales and finance efforts. Working closely with management teams, sales teams, and clients; he provides rapid sales growth and ensures customer success with repeatable, quantifiable processes. He also provides strategic direction to the marketing team and helps the company build long-term partnerships with the nation’s top mass tort litigation firms.

Damon is an expert and thought leader in advertising, digital marketing, customer acquisition, data and analytics, technology, and enterprise sales. His proven track record for scaling businesses, growing market share, and increasing bottom-line revenues continues to help focus the trajectory at Broughton Partners to maximize value for our company, our client law firms, and the claimants we help connect with attorneys. 

In addition to his involvement with Broughton Partners, Damon is also a principal in several ventures where he maintains advisory roles. As a father of two young girls, he is passionate about ensuring we create a safer world without corporate negligence for his children and future generations.

Tiffany comes to Broughton Partners with 9 years of Human Resources experience. She was born in South Carolina but raised in Georgia, and has a passion for helping people. She joined the U.S. Navy Reserves back in 2010 where she worked as a military police officer, but also helped with multiple HR functions. She is a hard working, resilient professional who is excited to be a part of, and assist in BP’s goal of helping 500,000 claimants by 2025!

Brian comes to Broughton Partners with over a decade of Human Resources experience. Born and raised on Tybee Island, Brian is an avid surfer, boater, and overall outdoor enthusiast. He left his home in 2008 to serve in the U.S. Coast Guard and upon departure completed his Master’s Degree here at Georgia Southern University. He is a firm believer that people are your greatest resource, and you must always do what you can to take care of them!

Cason Carter

CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Cason Carter is the founder and chief executive officer (CEO) of Broughton Partners. He started his career in corporate insurance sales and saw first-hand how businesses put profits before people. This fueled his passion for becoming an advocate for victims of corporate negligence, and creating Broughton Partners.
Cason is responsible for the planning, strategy, daily operations, and overall vision of the company. He is an executive with strong business acumen and a relentless focus on execution. Under his leadership, the company has experienced tremendous growth in a short amount of time. His innovative mindset and ability to lead the organization through change have contributed to the overall success.
One of his proudest accomplishments has been creating an engaging and inspiring company culture. Cason firmly believes the success of an organization starts and ends with its employees. He spends a lot of his time and energy focusing on leadership and the company culture, striving to build a team that is equally as passionate about creating a world without corporate negligence.
Cason holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Clemson University.

Janice Conner

Janice L. Conner comes to Broughton Partners with several years of sales, hospitality, finance, and leadership experience and is responsible for the sales department’s daily operations, which include forecasting, commission computation, accounting, marketing assistance, client engagement, and departmental organization.
Janice spent the better part of her career working for Passion Food Hospitality in the Washington D.C. area. Prior to joining Broughton Partners, she held sales director roles within Compass Group, ThinkFoodGroup by José Andrés, and Southern Proper Hospitality Group in Atlanta. Throughout her career, she has developed teams and supported their members across different departments in the hospitality industry.
Janice studied business at both Northern Virginia Community College and The George Washington University.

Ambria has been with Broughton Partners for nearly two years after spending several years in property management where she worked in military and conventional housing. Ambria says that what drew her to Broughton Partners was the ability to help people who have been through their worst times. Hearing their stories pushes her to do whatever it takes to ensure we’re helping each individual as much as possible. Originally from Columbus, GA Ambria and her family live in Savannah and spend free time traveling to different states and spending quality time together.

Jess moved to Savannah in the summer of 2020 from Jacksonville, North Carolina where her husband served as a Marine stationed at Cherry Point MCAS. She has 2 bachelors degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Sociology from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. She started her career at Broughton Partners in August of 2020 as a Client Services Coordinator and played a critical role in moving the team forward during her tenure. She consistently achieved the highest pace of case delivery and expertly managed processing vendor leads, all while enthusiastically helping her fellow teammates. She was promoted to Account Manager in January of 2022 and has continue her passion to help people and lead by example.

In her spare time, she likes to do yoga, spend time with her family exploring Savannah, and read mysteries or supernatural books. She has a free spirit, kind attitude, and doesn’t take herself too seriously. “You only live once, might as well make the most of it and enjoy.”

Director of Business Intelligence

Curt Daughtry is the director of business intelligence for Broughton Partners. In this role, he is responsible for the company’s data strategy, including leveraging data for operational metrics, sophisticated data analysis, and advanced data modeling to solve business problems. He also designs and optimizes data visualization tools to provide actionable insights that enhance decision making.
Curt’s expertise covers all aspects of the data architecture process, including gathering business requirements, data architecture, development, implementation, deployment, and training. He brings a unique blend of business and technology to any discussion, guiding leaders to a focused outcome.
Curt holds a bachelor’s degree in management from Clemson University.

At the core of our technology team, Austin has been with the company from the ground level and is an integral part of continuously providing innovative solutions to our clients. While he may be one of the youngest members of the team, he is a leader in all departments for building the infrastructure that allows us to connect more claimants with qualified attorneys nationwide. Austin is usually the last person to leave the office but can also be found playing with his dog or enjoying time outdoors on the weekend.

David Gray joined the Broughton Partners team in April of 2019, bringing with him years of experience in the private wealth management sector. A native of Oklahoma City, he holds a degree in Finance from Westminster College in Salt Lake City, Utah. As an account manager, David serves as the main point of contact for Broughton Partners attorney clients, acting as a liaison between law firms and Broughton Partners many internal departments, including marketing, sales, technology, client services, and our intake department. In his free time, David enjoys everything the great outdoors has to offer through backpacking, golfing, and tennis, as well as attending live music events with friends.

Jennifer Hill comes to Broughton Partners with 22 years of sales experience and is responsible for business development.
Before joining Broughton Partners, Jen worked for Hyrell as a Director of National Business Development, where she worked with C- level executives and franchisors providing hiring software solutions. She graduated from Pinellas Technical College with a degree in commercial art.
In her spare time, Jen volunteers with Big Brothers Big Sisters and participates in other volunteer events. She is a huge lover of nature (trails, camping, and anything outdoors) as well as her two Boston Terriers.

Shannon joined Broughton Partners in 2018, leveraging her experience managing public and customer relations at one of the largest automotive groups in the Southeast region. Maintaining a client-centric approach to problem-solving, she tackles any and all obstacles with unwavering determination. She strongly believes in empowering our team because our team empowers our clients. Shannon is an avid snowboarder, a casual yogi, and a habitual snuggler of her two dogs and two cats. Casey joined Broughton Partners in 2017 and has been working in Marketing and Marketing Analytics since 2005. After hearing about Broughton Partners at a networking event he was intrigued with the questions they were asking and all the data he would have access to in order to try answer those questions. Originally from Kansas City, Casey and his family live in Savannah and spend their free time raising their young daughter.

Mike has over 25 years of Sales and Sales Leadership expertise, with a proven track record of driving results as both an individual contributor and as a sales leader. Mike spent the last several years in roles where he’s been responsible for developing, directing, onboarding, and leading remote based sales teams, in a variety of channels from media sales to extreme sports equipment to medical supplies.
Mike lives in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL and is married with 2 children. Mike is a former professional soccer player and a life long surfer, and he says he remains passionate about both.

Joshua has had a broad range of sales and sales management experience. Joshua started a promotional marketing company after graduating from college and moved into media in 2002. Joshua has held roles in sales and sales leadership. Most recently Joshua sold and managed a large book of national accounts where Joshua was responsible for developing/growing C-Level relationships with advertising agencies and Fortune 500 companies.

Jennifer has 30 years of demonstrated history in the legal space and accomplished previous business owner. She is known as a legal leader and marketing expert in the legal industry, working with law firms around the country, partnering with them as a consultant on how to effectively generate more and better cases and increase revenue through legal marketing campaigns. When not helping to grow law firms, Jennifer enjoys working out, playing golf, and spending time with family, friends, and her loving Labrador Retriever.

Cordae joined Broughton Partners in 2018 bringing with her over a decade of experience in the customer service field including retail management, employee training, loss prevention, and customer care calls. She has studied Political Science and attended both Armstrong State University and Georgia State University. Cordae enjoys working in our intake center because it provides the opportunity to use her experience in customer service, alongside her passion for providing legal solutions to those who need help. Born in Jacksonville, FL, Cordae was raised here in Savannah. Cordae loves being a lifelong learner of random things, including blacksmithing, glass blowing, and tap dancing. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, tattoos, archery, writing, comics, anime, drawing, and watching documentaries.

Jenny Levine has 14 years of legal marketing experience, seven of which have been in the mass tort space. She has a passion for educating the firms she works with on the process of mass tort litigation and the industry as a whole. She uses her extensive knowledge and background to help guide firms on best practices for expanding their current mass tort dockets or as a new firm to the space looking to diversify their practice successfully.
Prior to joining, Jenny started a company called Swag My Brand, where she helped primarily personal injury law firms expand their brand in their respective markets by coordinating grass-roots marketing initiatives in their community. She then supported those events with promotional marketing material and giveaways, aka, Swag.
In her spare time, Jenny is a huge home DIY’er and is often taking on renovation projects in her home. She enjoys outdoor artisan and farmers markets, spending time with her family, and live music. She’s also a bit of a foodie, and so if ever in need of restaurant recommendations in the Fort Lauderdale area, which is where she resides, she’s your girl!

Amanda Matzke comes to Broughton Partners with 15 years of business development and client networking experience. Her background in the legal profession is focused on coordinating and executing litigation services. This included organizing data for depositions, assisting with medical records retrieval, and providing support services for attorneys during trials.

She considers her strengths to be building client relationships, people management, and extensive knowledge in the legal industry. Amanda enjoys teaming up with her clients and watching the mass tort litigation process come full circle.

Amanda resides in the St. Louis area with her husband and two young sons. She stays busy with her boys, from participating in sports to constructing forts in the living room. In her free time, she can be found working out, chasing her boys, or relaxing on a beach.

Tyler was drawn to Broughton Partners by their mission and culture. In his spare time, he is likely golfing, on the water, enjoying live music, or spending time with his Basset Hound.

She fosters a team environment and encourages team members to look at all obstacles creatively and as being conquerable. Her insight on marketing, people management, and strategic leadership has led to growth in sales while staying aligned with the core value of taking care of the claimant.
Jess resides in Nashville, Tennessee with her husband where they enjoy watching their daughter grow up and explore her dreams. She feels best when she is with her family and friends and is always happiest being around any body of water. In her free time, she enjoys dancing, gardening, and educating others on health and wellness.

Vivien is an international attorney specializing in corporate commercial and Entertainment contracts. She has used her legal background to propel herself into a multi faceted career in sales, marketing and business development. Vivien holds a Bachelor of Law and Bachelor of Arts with a double major in Foreign Correspondence, as well as two Masters Degrees in Law (LLM) (Corporate Commercial and Entertainment) from UCLA and Bond University in Australia. Aside from that she also graduated with a certificate in Meteorology from Penn State University and is fluent in speaking French and German. In her spare time you can catch her hosting her own cooking and sports show, playing golf, working out, traveling and advocating for animal rights.

Diana has been a valued part of the Broughton Partners organization since 2017 as a member of the account management team. She was born in Mexico City shortly before her family moved to a small town in Georgia where she grew up. After a brief time at East Georgia State College, she attended Georgia Southern University where she earned her associate’s degree. As an account manager, Diana serves as a liaison between our attorney clients and Broughton Partners numerous internal departments. In her spare time, Diana loves early morning runs and spending time at the beach with her two dogs.

Patrick Rek

Patrick Rek is the chief technology officer (CTO) for Broughton Partners. In this role, he provides leadership for the continued development of an innovative, robust, and secure information technology environment. His expertise ranges from business strategy and execution to software development and rapid prototyping.
Patrick joined Broughton Partners in 2016 and is one of the company’s first employees. Throughout his time with the company, he has led the creation and execution of its technology strategy and roadmap, assisting in Broughton Partners’ rapid business growth and scalability.
Patrick holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Southern Polytechnic State University.

Jason Roe comes to Broughton Partners with six years of advertising and marketing experience. In his current role, he is responsible for consulting with law firms on mass tort acquisition strategy.
Prior to joining Broughton Partners, Jason worked for Cox Media Group as an enterprise account executive. He designed and executed omnichannel marketing programs to maximize return on ad spend for Fortune 500 clients in the quick-service restaurant (QSR) space.
Jason graduated from Georgia Southern University with a degree in marketing/advertising.
In his spare time, Jason likes to play guitar, golf, hike in north Georgia with his German Shepherd, and live an active lifestyle.

Amy Scragg comes to Broughton Partners with six years of sales and entrepreneurial experience. She is a highly ambitious business development professional with a successful B2B sales track record in the mass tort industry.

Prior to joining, Amy founded a successful personal training business specializing in bodybuilding and holistic nutrition. She built and grew an incredible nationwide network with rising success in business development through her entrepreneurial ventures.

Amy graduated from the University of Calgary with a BA double major in political science and communications with a minor in business management and marketing.

In her spare time, Amy loves to be as active as she can be, either boxing, weightlifting, or running. In the winter months, you can find Amy on the slopes of the beautiful Rocky Mountains and in the summertime out on the lake with her wakeboard and friends.

Chris accelerates at strategizing co-counsel relationships, case acquisition, and loves driving value for his clients. He has an incredible passion in growing the new business development team at Broughton Partners and assisting law firms diversify and grow their practice nationally. Chris has worked with leaders in mass tort litigations as well as solo practitioners transitioning into the mass tort space. Chris is happily married to his wife, Melissa May Seitz. They currently reside in Naples, Florida with their two children. When he is not working he enjoys watching football, especially games where his son is playing.

Born in Houston,TX but now residing in Florida Stephen enjoys the ocean lifestyle, working out, traveling and personal growth.

Will Spilecki studied communications and Spanish at The University of Delaware (Go Blue Hens!) and came to Broughton Partners with a background in Sales. Using the skills he learned he made a transition to Broughton partners in August of 2019 as a Client Service Coordinator on the fulfillment team. During his tenure, he assisted in quality assurance of case delivery and building relationships. He has continually provided service with a smile to everyone he engages with and helped grow and innovate processes within the fulfillment team. He was promoted to account manager in December of 2020 and has since continued to excel in his career. Will has remained consistent in maintaining great communications with our partners and growing relationships within our company.

In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, going on adventures with his two little boys, and exercising. Will is grateful to play a small role in helping people who have been harmed by corporate negligence!

Gary is the VP of Operations at Broughton Partners. His focus is on cross-departmental operations and efficiencies. Gary started his career in investment banking operations and trading at Lehman Brothers Inc in NYC. Since leaving Lehman in 2007 Gary has been involved in several small businesses where his focus has been developing operational procedures and figuring out a better way. Gary holds a BA in Finance from Valdosta State University in 2000.
